Certification of Inspectors
Due to the expiration of the My Safe Florida Home program on June 30, 2009, we are no longer certifying wind inspectors. A list of inactive inspectors associated with the program has been provided
, along with the dates which they were active, to allow insurance companies to verify that the Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Forms (Form 1802) submitted by homeowners participating in the program were completed by qualified, certified inspectors. Click here for a complete list of inspectors associated with the My Safe Florida Home program.

Learn more about mitigation discounts.
If your home has undergone a wind inspection through the My Safe Florida Home program and you are potentially eligible for insurance discounts or credits, you will receive a mitigation form. 31st Annual Destin Seafood Festival

For its 31st anniversary, the Destin Seafood Festival is returning its waterfront location on the Destin harbor! On Oct. 2-4, 2009, more than 36,000 visitors and locals will pack HarborWalk Village alongside Destin’s docks to enjoy fresh local seafood, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, and more.

The Destin Seafood Festival is the traditional kick off of the Destin Fishing Rodeo, and there is no better way to mark its 31st year than to celebrate right beside Destin’s docks, which are home to the largest charter fishing fleet in the state of Florida.
